I thought this would be a chore, but it gives me an excuse to go back and re-watch all the episodes again. It's actually pretty fun. My only concern is whether the lengthy breakdowns I type in should be categorized under the plot like:
- Heading 2: Plot
- Heading 3: Anime
- Heading 4: Chapter One, Two, Three, etc.
Open to any thoughts. I'm unable to play the games or buy the manga, so I can't check if the storyline in the anime is in any way different, or if they are more or less the same. TwilaTalk 03:26, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Also, should we add in the deaths of those who weren't actually shown in the arc, but are shown in the answer arc? The first one that's presenting a problem is Satoko's death (repeatedly knifed by Shion while nailed to a cross in the Sonozaki basement). I know this is shown in Meakashi-hen, alongside Rika's death (but Rika's death was shown in the opening seconds of Watanagashi-hen), but should it be added to the list of Deaths for this arc?
Okay, so I finished re-watching the episodes and typing the breakdowns. Now, I'm confused. XD I saw all the other arcs, so I am wondering how Shion's body was found dead by Ooishi and Kumagai outside the apartments, and then the scene changes to the hospital scene where Shion kills Keiichi.
In Meakashi-hen, doesn't Shion fall to her death after she kills Keiichi in the hospital? O-o;; This hasn't anything to do with the Wiki page, this is just a fan of Higurashi asking a question about the plot. TwilaTalk 19:18, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
How do we know that Keiichi was killed all that happened was that his hand was hammered that doesnt mean he died.Sgt Sprinkles 21:32, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
He was killed, but not by Shion. In Meakashi-hen (and probably also Watanagashi-hen, but I don't remember) Keiichi dies of a heart attack in the hospital. 'Shion' in his room with the hammer was a hallucination that scared him so much he had a heart attack.
He died in the end[]
He had a heart attack when he hallucinated Mion holding a hammer over his head.
Edit reverted.

I just went though the orginal sound novel, TIPS, and ALL-cast Review Session of Watanagashi-hen. I didn't find anything indicating that Keiichi's cause of death was "acute heart failure". They mentioned him dying, but nothing on having a heart attack or anything simalar.
There is a possibility that I made a mistake. Please enlighten me. Oneextrafootstep 03:50, July 5, 2012 (UTC)
